POLSC402: Global Justice

Upon successful completion of this unit, you will be able to:

• Analyze the effectiveness of institutions such as the ICC for implementing justice for individuals and groups.
• Examine the extent to which the 'local' and 'global' boundaries are becoming more permeable with respect to questions of justice in both the civil/political and economic/social/cultural milieus.
• Formulate an argument that either supports or rejects the assertion that needs supersede rights in the pursuit of global justice.
