Upon successful completion of this unit, you will be able to:

• Explore the theoretical material on universal and relative conceptions of justice with respect to specific situations pertaining to children.
• Formulate an argument either supporting or rejecting the concept of distributive justice with respect to resource scarcity, environmental degradation, and waste distribution.
• Extrapolate from the readings the possible ways in which empowerment and advocacy can be achieved by individuals seeking justice.
