Upon successful completion of this unit, you will be able to:

• define propositions and the logic operators: NOT, AND, OR, and XOR;
• calculate truthfulness or falseness of compound propositions using truth tables;
• transform compound propositions using DeMorgan's Law and other identities;
• define tautology and contradiction; and
• apply rules of inference.
